Touchscreen iPod or iPhone?

“It is "almost certain" that Apple Computer will begin production of its long-anticipated iPhone in January, and the company will unveil improvements to its iTV and the iPod at the same time, according to one Wall Street analyst. “

“In his latest research paper to clients, Gene Munster, a senior analyst with Piper Jaffray, wrote that these three new offerings from Apple will make their debut at the Macworld Expo in San Francisco on Jan. 9. “

The silence must mean something. It always means something. Apple is very well known for its secretive approach to new products. But maybe Steve changed his mind and decided to push back the iPhone release date to make space for a new Touchscreen iPod? The biggest challengers for Apple are still music players. The Zune and the Sansa players are getting stronger. Maybe Steve will want to get a bigger edge in the music player market before he releases the iPhone? Come on, Steve give us better hints! Can you really handle three product launches at the same time?
