UPDATE: Rogers officially confirmed the upcoming iPhone release in Canada. More details here.
According to Gizmodo, a customer service email was sent by Rogers with the following statement:
“Rogers is actively working with Apple to launch the iPhone in Canada as soon as possible and will be the exclusive provider of the iPhone in Canada.”
The email reported no other information related to the iPhone. The iPhone release date for Canada and the pricing information was not available. Just like the Cingular deal, a 2 years contract will probably be mandatory but this information is still unconfirmed.
