State Senator Carl Kruger wants to implement a ban on iPod and cell phone use while crossing streets in major NY cities. If the bill goes through you could be fined $100 for talking on your mobile phone or listening to your iPod while crossing the street. The story didn’t say if you get twice the fine when using an iPhone. After all, this is a mobile phone "with" an iPod!

What is the next step? Deaf and blind people are going to be prohibited from walking on the streets of NYC? Total non sense!
