Sure, the hype around the iPhone is fading on the Internet, but Apple’s fans can’t wait for the iPhone to be released.
Randall L. Stephenson, AT&T’s COO, said one million people have asked to be notified about the phone. That’s not sales, mind you, but indications of interest.
1 million inquiries? All that in 80 days? That’s 12 500 per day or 520 per hour. That’s a lot. Did he exaggerate the number? Maybe he wanted to say 100 000?
Well if Stephenson said the truth, the iPhone is going to be a real knock out next June!

If the killer app for the iPhone is going to be portable video conferencing via iChat mobile, don’t they have to put the camera on the same side of the iPhone as the screen so you can be videoing yourself while you are looking at the video of the person you’re video-chatting with??
