If you’ve been reading the news lately, you probably noticed all the iPhone bashing going on right now on many websites.
Since Apple released a statement concerning the state of development of the iPhone, people are trying to read between the lines with all sort of approaches.
Reports are saying that because Apple said the iPhone will be released "late June", we should expect even more delays before the iPhone is officially launched.
This article says that Apple is being hit by software snags. But just because Apple says the "iPhone contains the most sophisticated software ever shipped on a mobile device" does not mean they have terrible problems delivering the product.
Technewsworld claims that the iPhone is obsolete because it uses the EDGE technology for wireless data transmission. Cingular’s wireless data network is using EDGE and this is why the iPhone is built with the same protocol. The journalist is barking at the wrong tree. Discussing wireless network technologies should not be done at the device level. If we want to know if EDGE is still in the game, we need to look at how well Cingular is doing compared to Sprint or Verizon that are using newer data transmission technologies like EV-DO.

Apple should be aware about Wimax coming along as well. What will happen when Wimax rings through the U.S faster than cingular can get 3G in American… We’ll see
