Apple made an official statement today regarding the iPhone release date. One thing is clear; the June 11 rumor is officially gone!
iPhone has already passed several of its required certification tests and is on schedule to ship in late June as planned. We can’t wait until customers get their hands (and fingers) on it and experience what a revolutionary and magical product it is. However, iPhone contains the most sophisticated software ever shipped on a mobile device, and finishing it on time has not come without a price — we had to borrow some key software engineering and QA resources from our Mac OS(R) X team, and as a result we will not be able to release Leopard at our Worldwide Developers Conference in early June as planned.
Historically, Apple is being known for releasing new products only on Tuesdays. A late June release would mean that the only possible dates are June 19 or 26. Since the 19th sounds a lot more like mid-June than late-June. The best guess would be Tuesday, June 26. What do you think?

I don’t even see where it says the 19. This is supposed to be comments about the phone not grammatical errors in the article.

shigg indeed is a donkey. Uneducated, since he made an idiotic comment on the author’s article. I found no error in the above article. It is perfectly correct to indicate June 19, than June 19th. Because 19th refers to a closed end reference to a particular event or incident. For example: The June 19th is the release date, or it will be released on June 19, 2007. Nevertheless, Shigg is a shaggy sheep shit, we are waiting for iphone to come out, not the date.
