We’ve seen it all! But here’s a recap of the Top 5 iPhone Rumors before the iPhone was actually announced by Steve Jobs last January.
My personal favorite is Kevin Rose talking about the iPhone just like he designed the device himself! What is your favorite one?
- New-York Times – August 18,2002: The New York Times discusses Apple’s future plans for an Apple-branded Phone (aka iPhone): "But analysts and people close to the company say that the plan is under way."
- Le Figaro – Saturday June 25, 2005 : "Le Figaro announces, without any doubt, that Apple and Motorola will unveil next Tuesday the results of their collaboration, the iPhone. It will be white, and its shape will be similar to the E398 model."
- Forbes – November 14th, 2006: "Hon Hai Precision Industry Co Ltd (2317.TW) has secured contracts from Apple Computer for 12 million mobile handsets that also function as music players, the Commercial Times quoted industry sources as saying."
- Business 2.0 - March 28, 2005: Business 2.0 published an article which provides a roundup of thoughts circulating around the Mac Web and came up with their own "What’s Next for Apple?" predictions. From most likely to least, they provide speculation on the following products: Wireless iPod vPod (Video iPod), iHome (Media Center), iPod on Wheels (Enhanced iPod/Car interaction), iPhone (Apple Branded)
- Kevin Rose, Digg.com – November 30, 2006: Kevin Rose claims he has all the details about the iPhone.

My ipod touch 1G is my essential iPod, Personal digital assistant and a whole lot more, not to mention has also been ever since I bought it. It also function the most up-to-date iPod system software, and also any app I need it to operate. I’m using it to post this remark at this time. I would say it can be a lot more compared with basically an “excellent hobbyist system” — it’s an extremely good iPod
