There’s not a single day where Apple does not post something new related to iPhone. Today, a new page has been added to help you find information about the availability of iPhone at you local Apple Store.
The page won’t tell you the quantities, but at least you will have a general idea of the availability or not from a specific store. But don’t bother searching for your local Apple Store right now, all stores says they have the iPhone. The availability will probably be quite different on Saturday morning though!

I figured out what the flash was doing behind the scenes. It’s quite easy. By fetching the web page, and then parsing the output, you can simply look for stores that have the phone (which is a shorter list at the time of this writing). Their web page also doesn’t display anything at all before 9:00pm or after 9:00am. This will work any time. Of course, the information might be stale, but it’s better than nothing, IMHO.
