Thinking about buying more than one iPhone next Friday? Maybe one for your girlfriend too? Forget about it says AT&T. The initial sales event has a limit of one iPhone per customer. In an e-mail sent to future iPhone customers, AT&T says, "with iPhone arriving June 29th at 6 p.m. in AT&T retail stores, the wait is almost over. Use our online store locator to find the closest AT&T store that sells Apple iPhone (limit one per person). We’ll show you maps, directions, and everything you need to get your hands on an iPhone as quickly as possible."
The huge lines should melt pretty fast though. Since no in-store activation is required, all you have to do is give your credit card, grab an iPhone box and leave. It shouldn’t take more than a few minutes per customer.

The big question is will Apple stores hold the same restrictions. If so, why do they even offer a family plan activation on the iTunes activation page? I guess I’ll just have my better half meet me at the store before 6 so we don’t have to both wait in line all day.
