I was in Chelsea in NYC this afternoon and saw the first sign of an iPhone presence in a AT&T store. I entered the store to see if I could find any other trace of an iPhone imminent release but, I left with empty pockets.
I saw many people ready to sign two and three years contracts for all sorts of phones. I thought, “What the hell are you doing? The best portable device of all time is coming out in three weeks and you don’t care turning your back on it for so many years?”
How can we all be brain washed like this? I haven’t touched an iPhone yet! Well, I guess this is part of the magic around nice toys like this…

There was a sign in front of the store in my town (which was one of only three stores in the state to get the “privlage” to sell the iphone) but all it said was the date of release. As far as time advice, the reluctant staff told me to get there as early as possible.

HA!! Am gonna camp outside the phone shop a day earlier to grab the first iPhone in the State.WOOT!!
