Here it is folks. The first iPhone hack you really wanted to have. Using a Mac (a Windows version is not available yet) you can install custom ringtones on your iPhone. But even though this hack is in your reach distance, the risk of killing your iPhone is there. You have been warned!
Using the iPhoneInterface and Jailbreak from their newly developed toolbox, the hackers were able to write a procedure to add custom ringtones to your iPhone. Of course, Apple will probably release something that will make this obsolete, but for now, this is the only choice you have if you really want to add your favorite ringtones on the iPhone.
You might want to wait a few days to see if people are experiencing weird problems with this hack or not.

Anyone else notice that ringtones piped over to the iphone tend to be over modulated at higher volumes when they are not played via itunes or other mp3 programs on the computer?

I have confirmed this to be true!
Just followed the instructions at http://www.everythingiphone.com/forum/iphone-software/how-to-add-custom-ringtones-by-wjp09-with-pictures-and-videos-5521.html
Worked perfectly. No problems with drive size changing.

Hi, I found this blog when i was searching for web sites related to ringtones. I have say, your site is good. I like the design too, its refreshing. I don’t have the time now to fully read your web site but I have noted it and I also registered for your RSS feed. I will be back in a day or two. Thanks for a great site.
