An Apple event has been officially announced for September 5^th. The image above comes with the invitation to the event.

Any ideas about what it could be? My bet is on a 6G iPod based on OS X and my wish is for a multitouch screen and Wi-Fi feature.

Why a 6G iPod? Simply because of the "coverflow" image that comes directly from the iPod feature of the iPhone. It has to be related to music and it uses the new iPod interface available on the iPhone. And Apple already said that the new iPod will be OS X based.

But other announcements could be cool too. Apple could finally reveal the iPhone release date for Europe and Canada, a new version of iTunes or a new iPod nano. Who knows! Let’s have fun and speculate for less than a week.
