New iPhone Cradle from Incipio

Incipio will soon release what they call the “thinCRADLE” for iPhone. The new iPhone dock is CNC machined out of aircraft grade aluminum (F18 or Cessna?). The raised stand makes it easy for left and right hand navigation. You can also connect the iPhone to an external audio source.

The product is available in 2 colors: Bead Blasted Natural Aluminum and Anodized Classic Black. Both feature soft pained surfaces insuring, Incipio says, scratch-free use. The price? $29.99.

When I plug my iPhone into the thinCRADLE Dock Cradle my iPhone loses WiFi and Edge connectivity. When I take it out of the dock I re-gain WiFi and Edge connectivity.

Just got the cradle from Incipio and have the same problem mentioned in the comment above. It asks if I want to put the phone in airplane mode and says I will no longer have phone service. Does anyone know what the deal is? Also won’t play podcasts, music etc… seems to think that headphones are plugged in or something.

Nice looking piece but will the iPhone fit with a case? Does not look like it….

I too have had the error window come up. Already, this is my secund stand with such.

Recently, I was informed the units have been recalled. There is a problem with the electronics. However, an updated/corrected version is due to be out in March ‘08.

I plan to visit them, as I only live a mile away, and exchange my stand. Remember, these stands have a lifetime warranty. Keep your receipts!
