WARNING: Use iPhone At Your Own Risk

iPhone News

CautionWow, trendy… trying to get press by finding something wrong with the iPhone. Striving to only offer substantive iPhone info, I’m pushing it, and will keep it brief.

The iPhone is an awesome device… deal with it. It has some shortcomings, but none of them will damage our nervous system, overthrow even a small government, or take away our birthdays. I don’t know how Steve Jobs feels about puppies… it doesn’t matter.

Some recent absurdities include… "Experts" say that "Using IPhone in the winter may cause repetitive strain injury". This is apparently due to "unusual finger movements needed to search its menus or text". Unusual finger movements?… how’s this one? (well, ok… not so unusual I suppose). And of special note… those of us in parts of the world where winter may be setting in need to be particularly cautious as "less blood reaches muscles so they are stiff".

When the head of Microsoft’s Windows Mobile division bashes the iPhone, or someone from RIM, I get it. But this barrage of chiropractors, lawyers, human rights advocates, environmentalists, proctologists, etc. all finding some way to be associated with The Invention Of The Year

Can’t we all just get a life?

Speaking of RIM… right after the iPhone hit the US, RIM chief Jim Baislie talked about the "dangers" of iPhone. Actually, he was just worried about the carriers… "It’s a dangerous strategy. It’s a tremendous amount of control," he said. "And the more control of the platform that goes out of the carrier, the more they shift into a commodity pipe." I wonder how Jim’s pipe is doing this quarter.

And thanks to Google, sometimes the ridicules turns instantly into the sublime. Thank you MrVideo.

ok… back to the party. Let’s be careful out there.

Charging through the usb is fine as it uses 5v from the pc/mac so no worries about that.

the mains voltage will changed to low volt for the pc..

USB only uses 5 Volts max..
