According to a report on CNet France, the iPhone firmware update 1.1.3 could be released in the next few days.

The rumor (don’t forget…) says that a voice recording mode could be released as well as a disk mode. The  voice recording mode would let you capture lectures and voice memos and the disk mode would work just like the iPod does and will still block users from simply dragging
and dropping content to load the phone with playable music.

Let’s wait and see on this one.

UPDATE: Week-end is over…no new firmware…Snif…

Still, a video camera would be nice. Also, it would be cool to save images off of Safari directly onto the iPhone, from the iPhone. Or Copy&Paste or texts to more than one person at a time.

i agree, how about sending text message to multiple people with picture attachment. most people don’t check email all the time.

if you install the third party Installer app. , you can have voice recording, video recording (still beta), and MMS text and picture messaging ability( only send right now) and text and picture as well as PDF veiwing and editing.
it seems a lot of iPhone owners like to complain about the percieved limitations of the device. All you need is to do some research. Try jailbreakme.com if you have 1.1.1 and your iphone will be so much more functional and you dont have to wait for Apple updates. Be creative, I did and my iPhone does as much now as my Mac does.
The iPhone is the best device availabe, stop complaing.

how could they release a revolutionary phone, and forget the flash? how bout txt fwding to go along with the other txt features mentioned. and the ability to delete more than 1 email at a time would be nice.
