The Associated Press reported today that IBM is officially planning a version of Lotus notes for iPhone, as well as a "Microsoft Office-like software, known as Lotus Symphony". A formal announcement is expected next week at an IBM conference in Orlando, Florida.

This would be another big bump for iPhone in the enterprise, and specifically in competition with Blackberry, as IBM claims 130 million users worldwide.
