Travelocity recently revealed a new Web application for iPhone owners which lets them interact with their travel itineraries. Like other Web applications, it is viewable through the Safari browser.
The Travelocity Web application will let users do things like get information on flight status, TSA security point wait times, local weather, maps, traffic and airport driving directions. You can also access a full flight and time list for most airlines.
Travelocity added it is one of the first online travel agencies to offer this type of mobile solution for Apple products. It is also the only one to make use of a garden accessory as a mascot.
