Apparently IBM has been cooking up a new technology that could potentially increase the iPhone’s/iTouch’s storage/battery life by up to ten times!
This new technology, also known as “racetrack” memory, according to IBM, could pave the way to portable media devices holding up to half a million songs, and not needing to charge for weeks at a time.
Although we have only barely scratched the surface of this revolutionary technology, scientists from IBM predict that we can expect to see racetrack technology popping up in technology devices within the next ten years.
