LA Galaxy midfielder, David Beckham, was given a gilded iPod Touch (the 32gb model) by his English Club teammates for his “100th England Cap” (as the engraving on the back reads).
For those of you who aren’t familiar with soccer terminology, “100th England Cap” means that Beckham has participated in 100 international games for his country of origin (England).
Apparently Beckham’s English teammates only paid £600 ($1,188), if you have that much money, please don’t spend it all on a gold covered iPod (get a gilded iPhone instead!)
If you want to get an engraved iPod Touch, you can get yours custom engraved (text only) by Apple directly from their website.
