Ivyskin recently announced the Xylo Touch-Thru (T2) iPhone cases">case. This new crystal cases">case comes with a hard screen shell to protect the iPhone screen, but let’s you use the iPhone screen at all time. Surface Xylo Wave (SXW) technology passes ultrasonic waves that pass over the touch screen panel and transfer them to the iPhone’s screen without any interference. Too good to be true? I can’t say for now, but it does look good.
This is an impact-resistant case and the company says it offers a durable protection against scratches and dust, while allowing full access to all controls, including the touchscreen.
The new iPhone case goes on sale this week for $35.

I just got this xylo t2 cover. The touch thru screen does work, but it is very thin. I would not call it “hard”. It has imperfections in the surface that cause a rainbow colored distortion on the screen. Also the plastic case does not latch securely and comes apart easily. IMO a waste of money.

I’m glad you posted that Nick, I was thinking of buying one. I currently use a Belkin clear plastic case where the screen is exposed. Works great and my screen has yet to be scratched.

I have used this case for about a week now and I’m dissatisfied with my purchase ($35 bucks!). The touch screen sensitivity works fine but the problem is that the face is too flexible and does not “stick” to the iPhone screen which creates a very annoying watermark on the screen. It’s most notable when the screen is off but it is very distracting when watching movies in well-lit environments. If you only use your iPhone in the dark, then this would work for you. The case clamps together pretty well but occassionally it has come apart on its own while in my pocket.

You should take a look at this case. It is 100% carbon fiber and is very thin and you can still use your cradle.

I should have waited for all these comments before I ordered it. I ordered it right when I saw it and even rushed it for $10 extra only to be completely disappointed. The case kept unlatching itself, the screen does make that watermark no matter how much you try and clean it/dry it. It is very easily scratched and makes the phone look very unappealing. Also the touch screen sensitivity is largely decreased and is a hassle when trying to text because the corners are not sensitive at all. All in all the biggest waste of $45.

Joe Gigliello put it the best: The watermark is bothersome and plain ugly. I put it away after minutes of using it. If anyone wants it, it’s your’s for 1/2 price (you pay shipping).

The XyloT2 case is the best. I love it and highly recommend it. The water thing under the screen is easily solved by discharging the static. This is caused by Static build up… all you need to do is, after you clean the iPhone and before you place it into the case, you need to touch a metal piece to get rid of static Hope this helps…

I don’t know if this will work or not, but I ordered the pink defender case from otterbox (it comes today, yea) they recommend carefully sliding the inside of the screen over your hand or face to stop the puddle look. wonder if it would work with xylo? you can read it under the faq page on otter.
