That sound you hear of cash filling AT&T coffers of late has a big part owed to it by iPhone sales, which apparently have been doing the company a good measure of business. This is according to a Bloomberg report.
It has been stated iPhone sales, in part, helped drive recent profit for the company by over 20 percent. iPhone data, as has been been interpreted from the AT&T results, shows some 2 million iPhone folks on the AT&T wireless waves “at the end of last year.”
It was almost mentioned that “more than 40 percent of iPhone buyers are new AT&T
customers, and the average user of the Apple handset spends more
than $90 a month on wireless service.” Seems like AT&T scored themselves quite a deal indeed when they got the exclusive for the iPhone from Apple.
