According to Gizmodo, an unnamed source has “leaked” the release date of the 3G iPhone, claiming it to be June 9th, 2008. More specifically, this “trusted” source claims that the 3G iPhone will be unveiled on June 9th at WWDC 2008 (Worldwide Developers Conference,) almost immediately after it will be released to the “waiting masses” as it was so eloquently put.
Moreover, several other sources have also claimed that the 3G iPhone will not be released at a fixed price point. What does this mean? Well, each country (take for example the United Kingdom) will have prices/policies independent of other countries (such as the United States.)
Neither of these “claims” have been confirmed by Apple Inc. and it is very likely that anything will actually be officially confirmed until June 9th, at the Worldwide Developers Conference (2008.)
