Vodafone to Release the iPhone in Ten Countries
Following last week iPhone Canadian announcement from Rogers, Vodafone said it has signed an agreement with Apple to sell
the iPhone in ten of its markets. Later this year,
Vodafone customers in Australia, the Czech Republic, Egypt, Greece,
Italy, India, Portugal, New Zealand, South Africa and Turkey will be
able to purchase the iPhone for use on the Vodafone network.
Don't you see a trend here? Last week, Rogers wrote the same type of laconic press release. Extremely short, no dates, no prices, no model details? It looks like Apple wants to make a bigger announcement in June, and wants the iPhone to be previously announced for a maximum number of countries...A world phone iPhone maybe? Ok,ok, this is pure speculation from me for the fun of it... Let's wait and see!
