While its not exactly the same as a true iPhone to iPhone 3G comparison, these images do give us a good look at the difference in sizing between the two iPhone models. The measurements are just about the same, but the pics make the iPhone 3G look much more streamlined.

• iPhone: 115(L) x 61(W) x 11.6(H) mm
• iPhone 3G: 115.5(L) x 62.1(W) x 12.3(H) mm

If you take a look at the first image (pictured right), it almost seems like the iPhone 3G will have a side to side rocking effect when set down on a desk.
