While it seems a little strange having a new case released that fits the current generation iPhone, it is actually still nice to see new designs coming available, because after all not everyone will be upgrading to the iPhone 3G upon its release.

With that JAVOedge has released their latest cover, simply dubbed the “iPhone Leather Wrapped Back Cover” this is one that is offering a little more style than protection. The cover snaps in place on the back of the phone, although they do picture it reversed, so assuming you are not using your phone you could get some temporary protection for the display side, although personally I would prefer just to use a clear protector for the display.

The cover is made from a polycarbonate material that is wrapped with a “high grade leather” and has cutouts on the side, top, bottom and back to allow the user to still be able to use all the phones features such as the camera, dock connector, volume control and headphone jack.

The iPhone Leather Wrapped Back Cover is currently available for $19.95 in your choice of black, red or green.
