We first brought you that supposed 3G iPhone unboxing images just the other day, now a few more of those images have surfaced and it still looks more than just a little fake. While I can understand the argument that Apple may not include such fancy packaging when the phone is being delivered as a display or promo unit, but I think these images speak for themselves. Personally I would go ahead and claim that they should be branded with the words “fake” across them as opposed to “web-mobile.net.”
Just to mention a few issues: first off these new images show off a much larger circle towards the right top, along with a new circle on the left side of the top ear piece. We also cannot imagine that the backside would look anything like that, the phone information on the bottom is just about totally blended in and you would think they would choose to highlight that Apple logo just a bit. This makes it look like someone spray painted the back with a flat-black finish.
While these images are certainly attracting more than their fair share of attention, the creators should almost be ashamed of their work.
