Apple Stores: More Mysterious Boxes Arrive
June 9, 2008 | Tim Bradbury

As you may already know, Apple stores in Australia recently received boxes from Apple with the explicit instructions that they are not to be opened until Tuesday, June 10th, 2008.
Well, apparently these same very boxes (non-disclosure agreement and all) have been popping up at Apple Stores worldwide. Arstechnica reports that the London Region Street “received a single box that is padlocked, and under orders to be put in a safe until Monday.”
While we do not know the contents of these boxes, we can speculate that they are related to the 3G iPhone (perhaps a demo model?), seeing as how it is widely rumored that the 3G iPhone will be unveiled at Apples WWDC 2008 on Monday (June 9th, 2008.) I’m sure that by around this time tomorrow, we will have a much better idea as to what is contained within these boxes, and for that matter what is contained within the 3G iPhone.
