AT&T had added what seemed to be the official details for their free Wi-Fi offering, and it seemed like the everyone on the web was all abuzz that they had finally made it live.
According to the now-pulled website;
"AT&T knows Wi-Fi is hot, and free Wi-Fi is even hotter, which is why we are proud to offer iPhone customers free access to the nation’s largest Wi-Fi hotspot network with more than 17,000 hotspots, including Starbucks."
But just as quick as they put the offer in front of us, they took it down claiming that that page on the AT&T website was posted in error. Which ultimately means that iPhone customers are still not getting the already promised free Wi-Fi.
While its hard to complain about not being offered free Wi-Fi, this constant give and take is getting old. Lets just hope the next time they make an ‘announcement’ that they are not doing it in error.
