We have already seen the group outside the New York Apple store, of course some have begun to question their motives, and they are actually making me wonder whether they actually want an iPhone 3G or they just want the spotlight.
Either way, they have been there for a long time, and the lines are now beginning to show up worldwide. It seems everyone will have their own personal reasons for lining up, but there is at least one thing I can say for sure.
When preparing to camp out, make sure you are prepared to do so. You can see the Japanese gentleman (pictured below) who lined up in Harajuku while wearing a suit. It almost looks like he has no idea of what is going on and just saw a seat and decided he needed to rest for a few minutes.
Then we have Jonny, the guy who is lined up to be the “first in the world” to buy an iPhone 3G. He, on the other hand seems more than prepared and is comfortably dressed and properly prepared with his comfy chair and perhaps most important, the tent. Jonny (pictured below) is outside the Auckland Vodafone location.
If you are preparing a camp out or know some one who is, why not send in some pics and show us just how prepared they are. Personally, I am planning to get a 16GB in white, but refuse to camp out overnight. I will head out a few hours early and have some fun with those in line and hope for the best when my turn arrives.
