With all of the upcoming International launches scheduled for the iPhone, there are several countries that seem to have been left hanging, because as of current they are not able to use iTunes, or the iTunes Store. Which as we have all learned is pretty necessary for the iPhone, especially with the new firmware and the App Store.
Several new countries were recently added, which include Poland, Qatar and the Czech Republic among some others. Apple has just announced that they will now have the International iTunes store available to them for use with the iPhone, but the sad news here is that they will not be able to purchase any music or video. The use of iTunes will be limited to just the App Store and the available applications. Even the app store will see some limits, while there are currently over 1,000 apps available in the US store, not every application will be available in every country.
I suppose at least they can rip their CD’s or move other DRM-free tracks into an iTunes library to be able to sync with their iPhone, and even though I rarely purchase tracks from the iTunes store anymore, it still seems strange that their use will be so limited.
