Belkin has just announced that their TuneCast Auto FM transmitter has just received the “Works With iPhone” certification from Apple, which means this will now be a good option for those looking to enjoy their iPhone 3G in their car.
The TuneCast Auto offers ClearScan technology allowing it to automatically find the best FM frequency, and it does so with the push of just one button. It also offers a “PRO setting” to optimize and boost audio, charges your device at the same time and works on FM channels ranging from 88.1 up to 107.9.
In addition to the iPhone 3G compatibility, the TuneCast Auto also works with the original iPhone, the iPod Touch and just about every other dock connecting iPod.
The TuneCast Auto is currently available worldwide and is retailing for $79.99 US.

I have had this since march of this year and it works great with the iPhone and iPod.
It had the “works with iPhone” mark on it when I purchased.

The new iPhone 3G has a slightly different plug (same shape but different wire connections) than the ipods or old iphones…. I have two transmitter/chargers for my ipod’s in my two cars…. One transmitts but does not charge my 3G and the other vice versa… crazy, huh?
