Belkin has just announced that their TuneCast Auto FM transmitter has just received the “Works With iPhone” certification from Apple, which means this will now be a good option for those looking to enjoy their iPhone 3G in their car.
The TuneCast Auto offers ClearScan technology allowing it to automatically find the best FM frequency, and it does so with the push of just one button. It also offers a “PRO setting” to optimize and boost audio, charges your device at the same time and works on FM channels ranging from 88.1 up to 107.9.

I have had this since march of this year and it works great with the iPhone and iPod.
It had the “works with iPhone” mark on it when I purchased.

I don’t understand how this one works(charging via firewire), and my old griffin itrip auto does not. Any Ideas??

The new iPhone 3G has a slightly different plug (same shape but different wire connections) than the ipods or old iphones…. I have two transmitter/chargers for my ipod’s in my two cars…. One transmitts but does not charge my 3G and the other vice versa… crazy, huh?

I have the Canada Drive Safe Complete, its really good, the clarity of the fM transmitter is clean and the handsfree is great, http://www.canadadrivesafe.com
Its the OEM brand, there are cheaper knock offs on eBay but those ones beep every 45 seconds where the Canada Drive Safe version doesnt beep.

You say here and on the youtube video that it doesn’t beep, but before the video is over it beeps and you acknowledge that it doe so about every minute and that its just inherent to the design, then you say, oh its really not noticeable and just kind of blow it off, what’s the deal with that, I’d really like to have one, if it didn’t beep.

Thats not my site, but yes the one I got and u can check the site out, it will tell u it does not beep, amybe that was their old one or something but the one i have doesnt beep. They sent me a thank you coupon code, ill try and get it for you, u get some money off
