Brando continues to roll out the iPhone accessories, this time its the iPower, a “portable power station with speaker.” According to the specs, the iPower will work with both the original iPhone and the iPhone 3G. Overall it seems to have a slightly bulky design, but it does include a 2400mAh battery which should give you about three hours of battery life, which should be more than enough to help out in a pinch.
According to Brando, it takes about three hours to give the iPower a full charge and it also features an on/off button so you can switch the iPower off and use the iPhone battery. Of course you could also just remove the iPower and use the iPhones battery also. In addition the iPower also has a series of LED’s that offer some insight as to how much juice you have left.
The iPower Portable Power Station with Speaker from Brando is currently available and retailing for $44, which does not sound like a bad price, but personally I am holding out for the Mophie juice pack 3G that should be here in late-September.
