According to Engadget, someone using the screen name ”naseemajid” listed an iTreo 800p on eBay. It has since been pulled from the site, but not before they managed to grab a shot of the hoax “iTreo”. Seemingly a simple Photoshop composite, it is nevertheless an interesting – if distorted - concept.
How many iPhone users would just love to have a “real” keyboard?
Yes, the hoax phone is a composite of the iPhone and the Treo 800.
The “Buy it Now” price was $349. with an offer of free next day shipping at that price.
But it’s too late now. Darn! We wanted one!

Why do people do this? Even if someone bought it, paid via paypal when they don’t receive anything or as described paypal refunds payment then goes after the seller right? Or am I mistaken about this?
