America Movil, Mexico’s current provider of iPhone 3Gs, recently announced its plans to bring the iPhone 3G to Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay on August 22nd.

Yesterday, we also found out that the iPhone 3G will also be going on sale in Poland, Hungary, the Philippines, India, Estonia, Romania and the Czech Republic on August 22nd.

So far seventeen countries have been added to Apple’s rapidly growing list of countries distributing the iPhone 3G. Apple had planned to provide the iPhone 3G to twenty new countries in their second phase of expansion, leaving 3 slots unaccounted for.  Currently, the iPhone 3G is available in twenty two countries worldwide.

I’m sure we will hear news of the 3 final countries to be added to this ever growing list very soon, as the August 22nd launch date is closing in rapidly.

For those of you wondering, the third phase of the international iPhone 3G expansion is scheduled to begin sometime later this year.
