While Apple may have just recently released the 2.0.1 firmware, 2.0.2 was quick to replace it.
From what we can see, no apparent feature changes have been made in this latest version. The purpose of this update was to “fix bugs,” a firmware description we are becoming all too familiar with.
According to AppleInsider, some users are experiencing “faster browsing,” but this phenomenon usually accompanies a firmware update due to the cleared cache.
At the rate Apple is going, we might just see another one of these firmware updates in the next few weeks.

Yea, we need to have better descriptions than “bug fixes.” People are getting pretty upset that they don’t have any idea what is getting fixed in these updates.

I’m going to hold off on this for now and keep my phone jailbroken too.

Well there is a text lag bug so i believe they are fixing that as well as making it so you can go landscape while texting.

I’d love to get rid of the text lag. Landscape texting would be a bad idea either.

I have experienced problems with apps opening for only a few seconds then shutting off. I ended up having to restore the iphone to fix the problem. Another great idea would be for Apple to have different power options that would auotmatically turn off certain features to conserve our precious battery life.

Apple has to be one of the only companies I know of that won’t tell you what a software update contains. But I just wish they would change it so that my computer would see it as a removeable drive and not a digital camera. I need to put other files on it, like every other iPod I’ve ever owned!
