Turkcell has just announced that they will soon be bringing the iPhone 3G to Turkey. As of now the deal has been finalized, however they have not yet announced any pricing plans for the phone itself, nor any information regarding the pricing of calling or data plans. As of now the iPhone 3G release is still slated as “later this year.”
So far other than announcing the availability, the one bit of information they did mention was that it would be available for both monthly customers under agreement and also pre-paid customers.
Turkcell is currently the largest wireless provider in Turkey with 35.4 million customers. In addition to Turkcell, the iPhone 3G will also be available in Turkey from Vodafone.
