USBFever offering to take your $3 for a normally free SIM-eject tool

In what seems like little opportunity for sales, USBFever must have found something that seems to be a mystery to me. Their latest offering is a replacement for something that Apple now includes with the purchase of an iPhone 3G, the SIM card ejector tool.

I guess, and this is assuming that you don’t mind spending the $2.99 for the “iPhone 3G SIM Eject Tool” and then paying the $2.99 they charge for shipping it may be a useful item to have. You know, just incase you wanted to remove your SIM card for some reason. Of course keep in mind that a paperclip will work equally as well.

If nothing else we can give USBFever some credit for honesty, well maybe partial credit at least because they did fail to mention the paperclip, but they were kind enough to at least let you know that “there is a SIM Eject Tool attached in the original package.”

Of course, this may be just a neat little trick to gain some attention for their “iPhone 3G SIM Unlock Card” which promises to unlock your iPhone 3G. The unlocking SIM is currently available for pre-order at $34.99 and will begin shipping on August 20, 2008.

I am thinking about buying a Iphone but don’t want a 2 year contract. I already have a 2 year contract with T-mobile. Can I take my SIM card from my blackberry and put it into Iphone? Are there any issues surrounding this. Will it work? Apple people states that it may not work with all SIMs. Which does?
