We first saw mStation confirm the Mophie juice pack 3G back in early-August, however until now the shipping has remained somewhat a mystery. Well it seems that the juice pack will actually begin shipping on October 1 for those that have pre-ordered.
This little tip comes courtesy of WhenWillApple who claim to have received “an email from Chad @ Mophie,” of course the mStation website still reflects the shipping date as of “late-September.”
In the meantime, while I am hoping that date is indeed accurate, it seems it may finally be time to break down and commit my money. Hopefully time is still left to be included somewhere close to that first shipment.

I’m pretty sure this is a good date as I’ve had previous emails to mophie with other questions answered by the same Chad, but I won’t complain if they ship it out sooner
Yeah, I would jump on that preorder ASAP, better late than never! You could also enter their contest to win a free one. The first round of 10 winners was already announced, but they extended to another 10 winners (if you already entered for the first one you are in for the second).

UPDATE: The mophie website is now showing the ship date as October 15th. So it looks like mophie has delayed the release again going from late septebmer to early october to mid october. Hopefully the 15th doesn’t get pushed back any further!

Another Update:
Ok, I’ve confirmed with “Chad @ mophie” that the October 1st date is the date for early preorders.
“The 3G Juice Pack is still being release on October 1st, however all preorders placed after 9/8 will ship on October 15th.”
