Pangea Software offering discounted iPhone apps

Everyone loves to save a few bucks, so what better method of drawing some extra attention to your apps than to put them on sale. Pangea Software seems to have decided to do just that and cut the pricing on all of their apps in the App Store. The current lineup consists of Billy Frontier, Cro-Mag Rally, Enigmo, Pangea VR and Pangea VR Pro. Of those five listed, Pangea VR is a free app, but the others are showing decent savings.

  • Billy Frontier now $3.99, regularly $5.99
  • Cro-Mag Rally now $1.99, regularly $5.99
  • Enigmo now $4.99 regularly $9.99
  • Pangea VR Pro now $14.99, regularly $19.99

As of now, I have not been able to find any expiration date, so if you were hoping to score one of these games at the discounted rate then you may not want to wait to long.

First, it’s “wait TOO long,” not “wait TO long” (although ironically the meaning of the latter does fit here). Second, Pangea obviously feels that they’ve milked as much money as they can out of people willing to pay the higher prices for these apps and are lowering the prices to start milking money out of everyone else. I’d be very surprised to see the prices go back up. If anything, they’ll drop them even more once the demand starts to trail off again.

The downside to this approach is that a lot fewer people are going to be willing to pay full price for any new apps Pangea releases. I know I’m not.

I really want to get Enigmo. I don’t want to pay $5 for it though. So I will wait and see if it goes any lower.
