The unofficial iphone-dev team have just released their latest version of QuickPwn, which should come as welcomed news for any Windows users. As we saw, the dev team made quick work of releasing both PwnageTool and QuickPwn for Mac users, that also acted as a tease, and possibly annoyance for Windows users.
But thankfully, they will not have to wait any longer and can now proceed to either update to firmware 2.1 and then jailbreak, or be able to re-jailbreak after spending nearly a week without their favorite third party apps.
You can download QuickPwn 2.1 from here (Bittorent link), and for those unwilling to use Bittorent, just follow the link below to the dev team blog as they have promised to add some non-Bittorent links later.
I am a Mac user and was able to jailbreak last weekend, but I am still very happy to see the Windows version released because I know I would have gone crazy after a full week of not being jailbroken.

I think I’ve gotten the guts to go ahead and jailbreak my iphone. I’m not completely computer savvy but I was wondering if anyone could lead me to a reliable source so that I could learn (preferably through video) how to jailbreak my iPhone 3G through this latest firmware. Please respond if you get a chance, Thank you!!!

Also I wanted to know the difference between PwnageTool and QuickPwn and which is better. I want to know all the little benefits and am NOT worried about unlocking. I am fine with AT&T for now. I know you cant do it with the iPhone 3g anyway.
