Sadly an unlocking has not yet been achieved for the iPhone 3G, however it is nice to see that progress is still being made. According to a recently posted message they were able to make “significant 3G progress this week.”
It seems that the Dev Team was able to modify the baseband and have the iPhone 3G continue running, which apparently is good news. According to the details this is especially important because “running modified baseband code is a very useful ability.”
Of course, even with this progress update, the Dev Team is not able to offer any better time line as to when we can expect to see an unlocking tool released. Still, it seems they are working hard on getting to that point.

If you really want EVERYTHING working correctly on your iPhone the sum unlock cards are NOT the way to go, Plus I don’t think you should be using the comments here to sell your items, Maybe your confused this is the ipjonefreak site not eBay!!

Well then you have achieved what the DEV team is yet unable to do . Seeing how there isnt a software unlock for Iphone 3G yet and you seem to have the solution maybe you could share the details with us all about your software… i think not…its well known that any software unlock for 3G will come from the trusted source and fraudsters like yourself bundle and try to resell it as your own,,Shame Shame Shame..
I also payed your Website a visit…..impressive,,NOT..must of put a lot of effort into it…..go away is my advice…Loosers

My ipod touch 1G is the most important iPod, Personal digital assistant and a lot more, also has already been since I purchased it. It continues to run the recent iPod system software, and any application I need to have it to operate. I’m using it to post this comment at this time. I’d point out it truly is a much more than simply just an “excellent hobbyist system” — it’s an superior iPod
