A new app has recently entered the App Store, and it goes by the name of Last Call (App Store Link). The app is designed to “calculate your blood-alchohol level to determine it it’s safe for you to drive after drinking.” Of course, if you have to refer to a special iPhone app then most likely you should not be driving in the first place. That said, Last Call does also come with the obligatory warning about drinking and driving, making it clear that it was “provided for entertainment purposes.” But all things considered Last Call is a pretty neat app to mess around with and it also has a redeeming quality. In addition to offering the ability to see if you are over the legal limit it also allows the user to locate a nearby taxi service or for those worse cases — a local DUI attorney.
