One of the numerous features that plenty of people will voice their opinion about is the lack of MMS support. Well it seems that some iPhone users may soon be getting just that. A recent report in the Swedish MacWorld magazine is claiming that Telia will soon make MMS available — as an app.

“One of the most common complaints of iPhone is that you have to hack it to send and receive multimedia messages. But soon, those who dislike Apple’s mobile need to look for new arguments. For in an interview with MacWorld confirms a spokesman for Telia that it will shortly launch an application for MMS.”

While, this news may just infuriate AT&T customers that much more, it does at least offer a little hope. Assuming this translation is accurate, and that MMS support can be launched by individual carriers as an app, then maybe there is some hope for the future of MMS support.
