Orange France getting ready for an iPhone 3G price cut? [Updated]

A flyer that was recently leaked to AppleInsider offers a look into the iPhone 3G pricing details for Orange France, and based on that flyer, it appears like a price cut is coming soon. The flyer is promoting and event called the “Christmas Origami Star” that is set to run from November 13 through January 14. During the promo, the 8GB iPhone 3G is expected to drop in price from 149 euros (around $189 US) down to 99 euros (around $125 US). Could this be a way of clearing out some 8GB stock?

Between this price cut and the rumor of a $149 iPhone heading to Costco in the US, it almost seems like we are getting ready to see something new from Apple. But as of now, its a little early to suggest anything along those lines, perhaps if we see some other carriers begin to make some adjustments we can get a better picture. Personally, it seems like a good time to begin the phasing out of the 8GB model and moving onto a 16 and 32GB iPhone 3G.

[UPDATE] Well it turns out that I was a little behind the times with this one, the price cut has officially gone into effect. According to www.iphone.orange.fr the 8GB iPhone 3G is now 99 euros and the 16GB iPhone 3G is now 129 euros. Thanks for the comments!
