We’ve posted before about 3rd party apps that can essentially provide Cut and Paste functionality between certain iPhone apps. Unfortunately, this type of solution requires Jailbreaking (and even that has since been banished by an iPhone software update).
Well, fear no more because Friday marks the scheduled launch of Pastebud, a service which will allow Cut and Paste between Safari and Mail (though, it seems to only work one way, Safari to Mail as well as between Safari windows) using bookmarklets in Safari. This makes it usable on non-Jailbroken phones without downloading an app or using any sort of app as an intermediary step. The creators are just putting the final touches before launching the site. We’ll let you know just as soon as it’s live.

If I’m understanding this correctly, it sounds like I might be able to actually use the WordPress app now, but only if the clip and paste function works in the address bar. Who wants to blog without posting links?
