iPhone purchase leads to murder arrest for three men

Another example of how crime does not pay, in this case it looks like their greed may have helped speed up their capture. Three men have recently been charge with first-degree murder in the death of Daniel Frederick, the 62-year old owner of Blondie’s Antiques. The three men allegedly murdered Frederick in an effort to hinder a military investigation. Then I guess they did not seem to feel the need to stop their criminal acts with that horrible deed, because they proceeded to rack up thousands of dollars of debt using the victims credit cards. The three were said to be purchasing electronics that included an iPhone 3G. That iPhone later helped connect those accused with the victim because it was purchased through an AT&T store. What can I say, criminals are stupid, but at least in this case their stupidity may have been a good thing.
