The Website Mac Rumors is reporting that a maker of cases for the iPhone has a category for “iPhone Nano”, adding more fuel to the speculation that a new form-factor iPhone could be on the way.
The manufacturer, XSKN, has a page that lists “iPhone Nano”. The page is shown in the graphic at right, with the highlight added.
The Website iDealsChina has posted images of an iPhone Nano case. It claims that the image is from the XSKN site. However, a search of the XSKN site shows no images. It’s not known if there were once images there, which were subsequently removed.
Rumors of iPhone Nanos and even an iPhone Shuffle have been floating around for some time. Most of them speculate that the alleged iPhone Nano would be out this year. That would give Apple nine days to release it, which means it isn’t coming in the current year. Apple, of course, hasn’t spoken a word. But more smoke is swirling around than ever, almost to the point where it seems like there’s real fire around this one.
