Plans are in motion for there to be a much larger and more organized iPhone accessories manufacturers presence at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show. It is being put together by the trade show’s organizers as well as the popular iPod Web site iLounge.
The new iLounge Pavilion, which will be located in the Las Vegas Convention Center, will feature “a special exhibition area for manufacturers and retailers of iPod and iPhone accessories, related products and services.” There is no word, as of yet, who will be exhibiting or how this might impact the annual Macworld event running concurrently.
There’s no specific word yet on whether Apple, which ended its longstanding presence at Macworld, will surface next year at CES. AppleInsider, however, reports this will in fact be the case.
