The amplification of sound coming out of the iPhone 3G’s speaker is what this particular product is about. It is called the Ten One Design SoundClip and it prices around $8.
The Ten One Design SoundClip attaches to the phone’s docking port, directing sound from the iPhone’s speaker towards the listener. The SoundClip, said Ten One Design, comes in the form of a tuned conical deflection chamber and reportedly will amplify iPhone audio by 10dB.
Ten One Design has also built into the SoundClip a cord-gripping feature which keeps it attached to a charging cable while that cable is plugged into the iPhone. This product is currently available.
