5-row QWERTY keyboard now available for jailbroken iPhones

A new app has been released for jailbroken iPhones, one that should be a welcomed addition for someone that uses the numbers on the virtual keyboard often. The app is called "5-Row QWERTY Keyboard" and just like the name implies, it adds a 5th (top) row to the virtual keyboard.
Once the app is installed, users will have a row of numbers 1-9 and 0. Additionally you can also hit the up arrow (shift key) to switch those numbers into commonly used symbols such as the !, @, & and $.
You can find 5-Row QWERTY Keyboard in Cydia, just go to the search tab and enter 5-Row and it will come up.
Once downloaded, you may have to enable the 5th row. To do that just go to Settings -> General -> Keyboard -> International Keyboards and move the slider for "5 Row QWERTY" to the on position.

who has used this? Does it squish the keys too close together and make it hard to type?
Mine doesn’t work at all. Do I need to do something special after install?
It seems I am having trouble getting it to work myself. I have seen it running on a friends iPhone, and the above screenshots are accurate as to how it looks in real life. ie: The rows have a little less space between them, which makes it a little but more difficult to type.
I was thinking it may have something to do with another app that I have installed, but have not figured out a conflict yet. Hopefully I can get it working. Will update the post if I figure something out.
Well I think I figured out my problem. Because I have multiple language keyboards setup I have to push the world button to enable. Hope this helps.

because i installed it and was like..um..now how does this work….i’m really liking it so far

Yeah I can’t get it to work on my 3G 3.0 and I used it all the time on 2.x OS
Any word on getting this to work? I need this it’s the main reason I jailbreak.
Ditto, worked great until I installed 3.0. I’ve been checking almost daily for an update.

Really hope the developer gets this to work with 3.0. I didn’t think I’d miss the numbers row as much as I do…
